TOC Analysis Made Easier

Shimadzu (Germany) introduces the new TOC-Control V 2.00 software for its proven TOC-V analyzers. This modern, state-of-the-art software for PC control combines new features with easy-to-use operation. Together with the new software, the TOC-V series now represents a set of new modern tools for direct and reliable TOC analysis in many application areas such as drinking water monitoring, wastewater control, ultrapure water analysis or cleaning validation.
The clear layout of the sample window editor offers users “at-a-glance” access to all relevant information. The sample table can now be established via a simple “drag & drop” operation. In addition, the right mouse button contains many useful functions that greatly simplify operation. The new software version 2.00 now allows additional samples to be added during a current analysis cycle. This happens in the processing mode, whereby any desired number of samples, calibration curves or control samples can be added. It is also possible to
recalculate previously measured samples or print out reports.
Working in a regulated environment: During activation of the processing mode, the ongoing measurement cycle continues. In access-controlled systems, another user can take over during an ongoing measurement cycle. This is especially important for operation in a regulated laboratory environment working in shifts. One of these regulations is Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) which, among others, refers to the recording and reporting of laboratory testing and results. This means that instrument software must be able to assure authorized access
and to fully document data, parameter changes and results. TOC analysis has never been easier ormore user-friendly due to the new TOC-Control V software. Data acquired under earlier versions can be read and processed. Proven functions such as the establishment of control cards, method validation, export functions and 21 CFR Part 11 support are all part of the new software version.
